Do you eggnog? How do you eggnog? When do you eggnog? Because we like ours with a shot of brandy and a whole lot of holiday cheer. These are some of the more important holiday questions you should be asking yourself this season.

And if there is one thing we are thankful for this year, it’s a slightly warmer holiday season which means more time outside doing the things we love. As we approach Christmas and New Years, we wanted to share with you, our favorite festive drinks, to warm you up, calm your nerves, and help you welcome in the holiday spirit with a belly full of spirits. From spiked coffees to homemade Eggnog, we’ve got you covered with the tastiest drinks to share with family and friends this holiday season!

When you think of fall and the holidays, we get all sentimental over Apples. Apples bring us pies, and they bring us cider, which brings us our first-holiday drink.

  • Kentucky Mulled Cider

What you’ll need

  • Makers Mark Bourbon
  • Organic Apple Cider
  • All Spice bitters
  • Cinnamon and Lemon slices

Remember, this drink is sure to make for a great night and a very long morning. Bring your apple cider to a boil on the stovetop, adding all spice bitters and cinnamon. Once hot, add in 2 parts Makers Mark bourbon, and garnish with lemon slices.

  • Drunken Affogato

If you’re open to something new, this drink is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for any get-together.

What you’ll need

  • Espresso
  • Fresh Gelato
  • Your favorite liqueur

Simply pour the espresso over gelato and add a splash of liquor for a delicious twist on an Italian classic.

  • Not your Grandmothers Dirty Chai

This Dirty Chai is one of our favorite warm cocktails to serve during the holiday season. It’s simple and full of flavor.

What you’ll need

  • Chai Mix
  • Espresso
  • Half and half
  • Bourbon

Just add 3 parts chai, one shot of espresso, and 2 parts half and half, with 2 parts of your favorite bourbon. This drink can also be served cold and tastes like Christmas in a cup, spiked full of love. If you’re not a bourbon fan, Vanilla Vodka will do the trick just fine.

  • Gin and Cider

NO, this isn’t like Snoop Dogs Infamous Gin and Juice. We’re kidding, it’s just like it! This drink is a modern take on a classic.

What you’ll need

  • Bombay Sapphire Gin
  • Fresh Organic Apple Cider
  • Cinnamon
  • Apples
  • Cinnamon Sticks

Add into a mixer, 2 Parts Bombay Gin, 3 Parts Apple Cider, and 2 Dashes of Cinnamon Powder. Shake well and serve chilled with Apple Slices, and Cinnamon Sticks as Garnish! (If you are looking for a classier version, try it with Rye Whiskey.)

In true holiday spirit, our next drink looks like Christmas Day.

  • Candy Cane Martini

What you’ll need

  • Vanilla Rum
  • White chocolate liqueur (Godiva)
  • Peppermint Schnapps
  • Candy cane for a garnish

This drink is potent and incredibly delicious. Add into a mixer, 1 part Vanilla Rum, 1 part White Chocolate Liqueur, and 1 part peppermint schnapps. Serve in a martini glass with a candy cane on top!

  • Hot Toddy

Have the cold weather blues? This drink will not only cheer you up but improve your health as well.

What you’ll need

  • Bourbon
  • Hot Lemon Water
  • Lemon Tea
  • Cinnamon or Star Anise

Be careful, this one’s addicting. Boil water, and add Lemon Tea and Cinnamon with 2 parts bourbon to top it off.

One the ball drops this New Year, try mixing up your champagne with this modern twist

Spiked Champagne Cocktail

What you’ll need

  • Your favorite bubbles
  • Angostura Bitters
  • Organic Sugar
  • Your favorite Cognac

If you’ve ever been to Harry Potter World and feasted on Butter Beer, this holiday classic will quench your thirst! This really simple drink has been around for ages.

  • Hot Buttered Rum

 

What you’ll need

  • Water
  • Winter Spices
  • Butter
  • Bitters

Just add water, butter, winter spices, and bitters into a pan and let them simmer. Then top it off with your favorite rum.

We couldn’t leave out one our favorite drinks, Wine! This old recipe is bound to find a place in your heart this holiday.

  • Mulled Wine

There aren’t many drinks that will smell this good, and taste equally as delicious. This simple recipe will be a favorite for years to come.

What you’ll need:

  • Red Wine
  • Cinnamon
  • Cloves
  • Citrus

Just add hot red wine with cinnamon, cloves, and citrus. Bring to a boil, and then serve!
